We had a nice Pancake Breakfast on Tuesday morning!  Congrats to all of those kids!

We have been wrapping up measuring and sliding into geometry.  When we return from Spring break, we will continue with geometry and continue reviewing for the MAP.

What can you do to help reinforce what we are doing at school?  Have your kids cook or get out a ruler and do some measuring for you!  We have been working on capacity and length in the customary system.  We will continue the unit next week as we get into the metric system.

Conquer Cancer 5~April 10!

April 10, 2010 at 8:00 AM at WIS!  Come get your day off to a great start while helping in the fight against cancer!  This year's race proceeds go to Relay For Life and Willard resident Tammy Woody and her battle against cancer.  Runners AND walkers welcome!  Help to make our 5th Annual event the biggest and BEST event ever!

This week we have been working on square and cube roots, along with algebra. 

On Friday, students will be working on an assignment that includes the distributive, associative, and commutative properties. 

Next week, we will be looking at function tables and beginning our Geometry unit. 

The MAP test is quickly approaching.  Almost daily quizzes are still being given to review MAP content.

The Chapter 3 Study Guide is due Monday.  Many finished in class on Friday. 

Our test is scheduled for Tuesday.  Below is the site that goes along with our math book.  It is listed in the math book also.  There are self-check quizzes and practice problems that students can use for studying for the test.
