Decimals | |||

Last week, we started off our decimal unit with a "trip" to Cracker Barrel. Kids had a certain amount of money to spend on whatever food items they wanted. However, they had to correctly add and subtract decimals in order to do this. Most were very successful! This week, we are starting off by reviewing our expanded form assignment from Friday. The rest of the week will involved compare and ordering decimals, along with estimating sums and differences. Remember: Students are having review quizzes almost daily to begin preparing for the MAP test. Have a great week! | |||

My name is Debra Ellis, and I am originally from Southern California. I moved to Willard in the 4th grade, and my family has proudly supported Willard Schools ever since. This is my 16th year of teaching kids, and all of my years have been in Willard. I love what I do, and I want to see each child succeed.
