      What makes a children's book? Why do we read them aloud?  What themes do they have?  Why do kids like them?  Practice reading with inflection, change of pace, and character voices

      Write your own children's stories in the lab (partners)- print it
      Create dialogue for characters and narrators
    • Thursday
      Practice reading your stories- sitting, using only your voice as an action tool with inflection and character voices
      Top That- choose 6-10 words and go around and build inflection with each person
      Test Tomorrow over stories

      Perforance Test- reading stories with inflection, pace, and volume changes
