WMS Volley Tigers

Our first team night will be Thursday, Sept. 11. After practice, we will do a fun craft project that you won't want to miss! Then we will head to the HS for a varsity VB game. Parents can pick up at the HS at 8:00. Bring a snack for after practice and also money to eat at the concession stand if you are hungry!

Lifetouch will be taking team and individual pictures on Thursday at practice. Bring your entire uniform with you! If ordering pictures, be sure to bring your order form and money!

We will not have practice on Tuesday due to early release from school, however on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, we will practice until 5:30 pm.

Try-outs will be held Aug. 19, 20, and 21 immediately after school in the lower gym. In order to try-out, you must have a physical on file with EVERYTHING (insurance!!!) filled out. If you make the team you will need to pay a one time $40 activity fee that includes your activity pass. Our first team practice will be on Friday, Aug. 22, and the "shoe guy" will be there to show us some VB shoes you might be interested in. Let your parents know!

The 7th Grade Team did a FANTASTIC JOB on Saturday at the Marshfield Tournament!! The scores were as follows:

Willard v. Lebanon (win): 25-16, 26-16

Willard v. Buffalo (win): 25-15, 25-14

Willard v. Marshfield (win): 25-13, 25-10

Willard v. Bolivar (win): 25-20, 25-16

Willard v. Rogersville (tie): 25-23, 24-26

And the Championship Game...

Willard v. Rogersville (loss): 23-25, 24-26

There is no school on Friday, September 28, but because we have a 7th grade tournament, we WILL have practice for the 7th graders on Friday at the regular time (2:45).
